The Upper Souris Watershed Association and the Ministry of Agriculture will be holding a Water Quality Workshop in Radville, SK. on August 29 at 1:30 P.M.

The workshop will discuss water quality issues that may arise for livestock producers and options for improving or maintaining water quality.
Some of the water quality issues to be discussed are: blue-green algae identification, health concerns, treatment and prevention, and sulphate concerns with livestock.

The new Canadian Agricultural Partnership (CAP) program funding opportunities will also be presented and discussed with attendees.
This will also be an opportunity for producers to bring a water sample from their farm operations to have tested at the event, to provide some information on the producers livestock water quality.

The event will beheld at the Innovation Centre in Radville, SKĀ – 420 Floren Street.
