The Workshops will be led by some of Saskatchewan’s most experienced Ecologists and Botanists. Jeff Thorpe is a Senior Ecologist who led the development of Saskatchewan’s Riparian, Range and Forest Assessment Methodologies. Bob Godwin is a Senior Plant Ecologist & expert in bird identification. Jeff and Bob developed the resource Ecoregions and Ecosites of Saskatchewan and have spent an extensive amount of time in grassland and wetland plant communities.

Workshop Highlights:
– Native grass ID in time for the field season
– Upland forb identification using vegetative characteristics
